One of the oldest and most bio-diverse jungles in South East Asia, the lush rainforest of Khao Sok National Park is set against a backdrop of towering limestone mountains. The park is also home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including elephant and the Malaysian sun bear. There are also some 180 species of birds in residence. Experience this spectacular park by guided walk and canoe ride with time to relax and swim in the river. How much activity is there on a family tour in Thailand?
We have different paces of trip to suit different families and ages of children. Our ‘Relaxed’ holidays have chilled mornings and dedicated pool or beach days. Our ‘Moderate’ trips have fuller days with down-time built into the itinerary whereas our ‘Full-On’ family holidays are busier, with some early starts and longer travel days.

What age are the children on a family holiday in Thailand?
The average age of children travelling on our trips to Thailand is 13, though it will depend on the trip you choose. If you would like to get an idea of who is travelling on a particular trip, get in touch with our travel specialists and we can share the number and ages of children on your chosen trip so you can find the right fit for your family.

Is there an age limit for children on a family tour in Thailand?
To make sure that you get the most out of your family tour in Thailand, there is a minimum age limit of seven years on the date of departure for the majority of our trips. For some trips, there is a minimum age of 11.

How many families travel together on a small group family adventure in Thailand? 
In general, you will travel with three to five other families on a family adventure in Thailand. We have found this is the perfect number for meeting new people and getting to the heart of our destinations.

What is the food like on a family holiday in Thailand?
Thailand is world-famous for its mouthwatering cuisine. Thai food typically has exotic flavours and fragrances. Try traditional and spicy Tom Yum soup served in a large clay bowl or Pad Thai, a stir fried rice noodle dish.
