Best time to go to the Maldives
The Maldives is an all-year-round destination with temperatures hovering around the early 30°C’s. Enjoy long, sunny days, as you explore pristine white-sand beaches and, if snorkelling is high on your agenda, you’ll be pleased to hear that the water temperature sits at a balmy 28 - 30°C. For the best chance of swimming with manta ray and sharks, book a holiday from October through to April, and head here from January to April for the best visibility. The Monsoon season occurs from May to November, but don’t let this put you off as the rain usually falls in short bursts in the afternoon and is followed by warm balmy evenings.
